by Ron Brouwer

Technical details are :-
Kit Details: Royal Products Corp U.S.A. (sadly no longer in existence)
Weight : 6.5lbs
Wingspan : 72"
Length : 58"
Engine : Magnum .90FS with 15x6 prop

Ron supplied the following information on this project

I bought it second-hand without engine or radio-gear. I completely repainted the thing in white & metallic blue, changed control runs to eliminate the slop in the control surfaces, replaced the bell-crank single aileron servo with dual aileron servos hidden inside the wing and added fairings to hide most of the aileron servo control pushrods. Repaired the wheel fairings and main undercarriage, modified the engine compartment to take the Magnum .90fs. Added various scale details i.e. foot-steps, l/h & r/h door & baggage compartment outline & hinges with trim-lines, added HF aerial behind wing trailing edge, tail-section aerial, tail logo's & livery, wing & tail navigation lights (not working), fake l/h wing-landing light, l/h wing pitot tube and a complete scale cockpit with all the dials and controls, 4 seats & seat-harnesses & pilot. I found the plane flies very nicely with 60% differential .

To remind him of home Ron used G-EHAM as the registration mark. EHAM being the International Civil Aviation Org's airport identifier for Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.
